I wanted to add some other 'power' traits, like pyrokinesis or telepathy, but I haven't figured out how to make that work (yet). The trait has a bunch of whims, about four or so buffs, and dramatically improves certain skills (it's easy to guess which ones). You can expect to pick up The Sims 3 Ambitions sometime in June, later this year.I really like the outfits! The cape is really cool! The trait looks really interesting too, does it give buffs or change how fast skills are learnt? While it has yet to be announced what their purpose will be, it'll definitely be interesting to see some familiar faces, even if they're Sim-ified versions of said familiar faces. You'll also be able to follow your Sim to work at other jobs such as firefighting and as a paramedic, but ask yourself: Would you rather protect your town from evil, or sit in a cubicle on a computer? That's what I thought.Īlso on the superhero side of things, you will get the chance to experience parodies of famous superheroes such as Iron Man, The Fantastic Four, The Hulk, and Robin. You'll be able to take your Sim to the streets to fight crime and save kittens from trees. Shaking things up a bit, is the fact that you will be able to take on th life of a superhero. This expansion, named The Sims 3 Ambitions, will be focusing on the careers of your virtual self.
As with previous iterations of the Sims series, another expansion pack is on its way. With that being said, is was no surprise when The Sims 3 became another instant hit. While some games have fallen short of expectations, there's no doubt that he's one of the key figures pushing the industry forward in new and innovative ways. It would be an understatement to say that Will Wright is important to the gaming industry.
